Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church Nursery School
Jesus once said “Whoever welcomes (a) child…welcomes me.” (Matthew 18:5)
We are pleased to be open and offering high quality nursery care:
It is in keeping with the above words from Jesus that Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church offers a free and fully staffed and equipped Nursery. Infants and toddlers too young to participate in the regular Sunday school program are welcome to attend! But also know that we love to have the children as part of our worship, and parents should feel free to keep even the littlest ones with them throughout the service.
The Nursery, which is conveniently located in the church, is open every Sunday during the hours of Worship and Sunday school (10:00 to 11:00 a.m.).
If you have any questions about the Nursery, or would like more information, feel free to contact Pastor Effie.
Meet our Nursery Staff

In her free time, she enjoys talking with her brother and sister and watching Big Brother.
- Trista Silveira is 16 and a junior at Smithfield High School. She plays for the girls lacrosse team there, as well as being a part of the Rotary
